Shayna Lewis
Vocals, Guitar, Harmonica

Shayna Lewis was born and raised in Brooklyn to the sounds of her father's folk guitar, her (Irish) mother singing Puerto Rican lullabies, Bob Marley on the box and salsa floating in from everywhere. It was a lovely childhood. In kindergarten she wanted to be a painter, but if you closely examine her work from that time period, you can see why that dream, along with so many others, was quickly discarded. Since then she's carried trays, plates, dirty diapers, clean diapers, books, pens and papers, bottles of wine, bottles of disenfectant, bushels of carrots, gallons of water, bags of garbage, unmarked boxes and always the cracked 1965 Harmony guitar, even though she has yet to learn how to play it for real. Although no answers have yet been revealed to her, she is supremely lucky to currently be part of 12 Hour Shift, the greatest rock band ever to be formed in Scott Shaeffer's old apartment on Ocean Ave by Myrtle, the turtle. Love to the whole fam and my girls.
